Thermoplastic microfluidic devices

Sourcing thermoplastic microfluidic chips used to be a painful, months-long process. At Parallel Fluidics, we use Transition Molding technology to quickly manufacture custom devices in production-grade materials like COP, PMMA, and PC.

3 day lead time

Cycle through design iterations in days instead of months. Our proprietary Transition Molding technology enables unprecedented development speed.

Designed for scale

The thermoplastics used in Transition Molding are the same resins used in high-volume techniques like micro injection molding, allowing for an easy transition to mass production.

Materials for every application

PMMA (Trade names: Acrylic, Plexiglas)  - A general purpose optical polymer suitable for a wide range of microfluidic projects.

PC (Trade names: Lexan, Makrolon) - A flexible, durable, and impact resistant material. Often used in high temperature devices.

COP (Trade name: Zeonor) - A high performance optical material with minimal autofluoresence and high thermal/solvent resistance. Great for the most demanding microfluidic applications.
